Howard County Genealogical Society Meeting

The Howard County Genealogical Society will meet Saturday, March 3 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Meeting Rooms A&B at the Main Library. The speaker will be Marcia Ford, head of the Genealogy & Local History Department at the library, with a program titled "Searching the 1940 US Census" which features how to search and where to find this soon to be released census schedule. IGS Annual Meeting


The Indiana Genealogical Society's 2012 Annual Meeting & Conference will be held Saturday, April 28 at the Allen County Public Library in Fort Wayne. The featured speaker is Debra S. Mieszala and a second track of sessions will also be offered. Register online at the IGS website at www.indgensoc.org/conference.php or mail in the form provided on the website.
